Here from my recent studies is another wonderful Truth about God.
Not only does He want all to be saved,
But He also works in the life of everyone to call them to salvation. Here are the three ways He does this:
Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived,ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Joh 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world [that is everyone, the whole world] concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
Joh 16:9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;
Joh 16:10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
Joh 16:11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
These three revelations each brings a discomfort that can lead us to God: Sin brings guilt; righteousness of God brings shame; judgement brings fear. Whatever we need to bring us to our senses, this is what the Holy Spirit brings to us.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Joh 1:7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him.
Joh 1:8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.
Joh 1:9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Jesus is continually giving light to everyone, are we paying attention?
God knows what we need and will give us all possible to draw us to Himself (what a wonderful, loving God!)—and then we need to respond, for He desires all to be saved.
This is the God we can totally trust!
