More on the price Jesus paid to make Easter possible.
Think on what He left and what He became. (From Colossians 1:15-18, and Philippians 2:6-11)
He went from being God to also being a lowly person.
He went from Kingship to being a normal citizen.
He went from ruling to servanthood.
He went from being the Creator of all to being a creature for all
He went from pure holiness to potential sin on a human level.
He went from being the all knowing one to having to learn things as a child.
He went from total control to weakness.
He went from filling the whole universe to being in one body in one place.
He went from holding all things together, to powerlessness.
He went from being a member of the Trinity to also being a member of the human race.
He went from being worshipped to being misunderstood, despised, rejected and betrayed.
He went from being the judge to being the Savior.
He went from being the Lion of Jusha to being the Lamb of God.
And He did this all for us, His wretched enemies!
