“Teach me your way O Lord and I will walk in your truth.” (Ps. 86:11).

Praise you, Lord Jesus, that you

--are our Way,

--you are the Truth,

--you are our Life.

Praise you, Holy Spirit, for your continual work in our lives with

--convicting,

--rebuking,

--guiding,

--teaching,

--transforming,

—persuading,

-- protecting.

Praise you, dear Heavenly Father,

--for your calling us to join you in your work,

--inviting us to play important roles in bringing change,

--asking us to tap into your power through the privilege of prayer,

--and opening the way for us to cooperate with you in seeing your will come to pass.

I praise you now for how you will answer my prayers, doing the work needed in me as well as with all of those around me who are needy, struggling, disappointed, confused and hurting.

I praise you that my trust is in you, O Lord my God, not in my feeble self. “Have mercy on me, grant your strength to your servant…give me a sign of your goodness that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me” (Ps. 86:17). May those around me see your power in my life and know it is from you.

And I know you will answer these requests, for “you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Ps. 86:15).
